Step-by-step guide on how to set up your MINICAMP kids teepee play tent easily and correctly.
Here’s what’s included in your MINICAMP teepee set:
- 5 pairs of poles with connectors and 4 supporting poles with loops;
- Teepee fabric
- Rope with 2 pompoms
- Stability bar
- Printed instructions
Step number 1.
Join the larger poles together using the white plastic joints. Please note that
the pairs are numbered. You can glue the parts together for added
sturdiness.
Step number 2.
Slide the connected poles into their sleeves, leaving the laces at the bottom.
Step number 3.
Place each pole behind the previous one in the same direction (1→5), forming a circular layout. Keep the poles slightly angled — do not align them in a straight line or cross them.
Step number 4.
Thread the long rope with the sharp end through the poles. Pull the shorter end of the rope to the middle, making both ends of the rope equally long.
Step number 5.
Cut off the sharp end of the rope, tie a knot, then take the spare pompom and fasten it with a double knot. Please watch the video for more details.
Carefully trim any excess threads.
Step number 6.
Insert the shorter poles into the inner sleeves along the bottom edge.
Start at the front and tie the larger poles to the smaller ones using the attached laces.
Step number 7.
Attach the final frame piece inside the teepee entrance. Push the plastic holders firmly onto the front poles just below the sheer window. This will keep the entrance open.
